A semi-fictional dark comedy following CHARLOTTE as an artist’s residency offering a free studio and home gradually becomes a situation of control and eviction. The film explores success and failure, housing, friendship, autonomy and the power dynamics surrounding artistic support.

It is winter. Charlotte is navigating a scholarship that funds a studio and apartment for her final year of study through wealthy donors.

As the situation deteriorates, the film follows her changing ideas about success and failure, tenant rights, friendship, personal autonomy and what it means to call somewhere home.
